• عضو اتحاد الكتاب العرب بدمشق عام 2007
• عضو في الجمعية السورية لتاريخ العلوم عند العرب جامعة حلب عام 2003
• وحتى تاريخه عضو في رابطة الأدب الإسلامي العالمية عام 2007
• عضو في جمعية العاديات بحلب من عام 1998 وحتى تاريخه
• عضو في اللجنة الثقافية في احتفالية حلب عاصمة الثقافة الإسلامية لعام 2006
• حصل على العديد من الجوائز وشهادات التقدير منها:
- جائزة دمشق للدراسات القرآنية عام 2003 عن كتاب
«وظيفة الصورة الفنية في القرآن الكريم»، وهي جائزة مقدمة من وزارة الأوقاف السورية
- جائزة الأدب الإسلامي للرواية لعام 1992 عن رواية «دماء على أبواب القدس»
- شكر وتقدير من جامعة حلب للمشاركة في ندوة الحياة الفكرية والأدبية في بلاط سيف الدولة
- شكر وتقدير من مجلس مدينة حلب للمشاركة في ندوة حلب وحوار الحضارات
- شكر وتقدير من وزارة الأوقاف للمشاركة في ندوة الإسلام وحقوق الإنسان
