لهذا رسمت طريقاً يصنع مقاربة لما أتمناه فكان كتاب (الصورة الفنية معياراً نقدياً) توشيجاً بين المنهج والتطبيق وآية ذلك مواجهتي التطبيقية الصوفية لشعر الأعشى الكبير فوضعت جهود القدامى والمحدثين واجتهادتهم في دراسة الصورة الفنية (التصويف التنظيري) جلتها قبالة محاولتي في التصدي للمنهج الصوفني نظرة وعملاً, وأحسبها الطريقة المثلى لكي يظل القرار متروكاً للمتلقي أولاً وآخراً.
لقد حاولنا في كتابنا هذا إعلان منهج جديد أو إزالة الغبار عن منهج تليد وتنظيره على مهل فاقترحنا له إسماً هو مزاج النحت بين مفردتي الصورة والفنية (الصوفني) ولم نشأ- كما ألمحنا- إلقاء هذا الوليد والشيخ معاً في متاهات البحث النظري وإنما سعينا ما وسعنا الجهد والاجتهاد إلى تأسيس منحى تطبيق يعين دارس النظرية في استثمار على مساحة التطبيق.
