هذا الديوان برمّته ينضوي تحت شعر الغزل، أو على وجه أدقّ شعر الحبّ، ولكنّه شعر مفارقٌ فيه مسحةٌ من تأمّل وفلسفةٍ، وفيه وجد المتصوّف، ونداء الجسد، وإمتزاج الروح والشهوة، وإتّحاد الوصل بالحرمان، وإلتباس الواقع بالخيال، إذ يغدو الجسد وثناً مقدّساً وكائناً أثيرياً، في لغةٍ مصفّاةٍ قريبةٍ وبعيدةٍ في آنٍ معاً، تفجؤك صورها التي تسيل جِدّةً وعمقاً وبراعةً وطرافة، صنعها الشاعر على عينه، فلفتت وبهرت وأطربت، ثمّ دخلت في سؤال التماهي بين الفكر ونشاط الخيال، إنّه تعبير عميق عن تجربة إنسانيّة.
وقارئ "مطر سّريّ" يقف عند حالة خاصّةٍ في تمكّن الشاعر من ناصية اللغة، يختار ببراعة من مخزون لغويّ هائل يسعفه في الإختيار والتعبير، فلا تضطرّه اللغة إلى ما لا ينسجم مع روح القصيدة وحرارة التجربة.
على أنّ هذه المزية الفريدة لم تمنعه من إختيار التعبيرات اللغويّة التي تحوم على تخوم الدراجة حين تقتضي التجربة وتستدعي براعة الصورة، وليس في وسعنا أن نقف طويلاً عند ثقافة الشاعر الواسعة التي تذوب عميقاً في جسد النصّ وتنهض بتحقيق الغنى في التجربة.
ولعل آخر ما تمكنِ الإشارة إليه هذا الغنى في الإيقاع، فالقصيدة لدى الشاعر محكومة الإيقاع الذي يبعث على التأمّل والدخول في عمق التجربة، ولكنّ هذا الإيقاع يتنوّع بما ينسجم مع لغة التجربة ومضمونها، فلا يجد الشاعر حرجاً في الإفادة من إيقاع قصيدة النثر، أو من إيقاع قصيدة الشطرين، وإن كان الديوان يختار في معظم قصائده إيقاع التفعيلة الذي يبتعد عن الضجيج وصخب الإنفعال.
"مطر سرّيّ" إضافةٌ حقيقيّة لحركة الشعر الحديث قد لا تصادفها كلّ سنة، أو ربّما كلّ عقد من السنين.
