تؤسس الشاعرة فاطمة إحسان اللواتي لعنونة كتابها "سكة مطر" بنية ثنائية تقوم على الحضور والغياب، والتراجيديا والمفارقة، وتسعى الشاعرة إلى خلق حساسية شعرية في انعطافات اللغة وجوهرها اللفظي، وتحرص داخل هذا الفضاء النصي المتراكم في هيئة رؤيات ودراما الحلم إلى تشعير بنى الحدث (الموت) باستدعاء شخصية (الأب) الغائب عبر قنوات حياتية تعيد إلى الذاكرة بصيص من ضوء "في صمتك .. أبحث عمن يناديني "فاطمتي" / فيزهر الدفء الأبيضُ / بين كفيك الحانيتين ورأسي / في صباحات السفر الباردة / وينساب شلال العطر / من سماء حنانك الملبدة بالياسمين / لتنبعث في شعري ألفُ حكايةٍ من حنين (...)". بهذا المعنى تشير الشاعرة إلى خواء العالم وانكسارات الذات وهروبها وضياعها داخل زمكانية تراجيدية حسية وموجعة، تلقي بظلالها على القارىء ليصبح هو المتشكل بالوجع وبذلك تبدو ثيمة الحزن ترسم ملامح النص على طول صفحات الديوان وقد نجحت الشاعرة في توليد التأثير الأعمق في نفس القارىء الذي لا بد وأن يشاركها الحالة الشعرية ويتماهى معها وهو ما نتلمسه كلما توغلنا في قراءة سكة المطر.
يضم الديوان (32) قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "من مبتدأ الضوء إلى ظله" ، "حافية على حبال زجاجية" ، "كواليس" ، "أمطرت سهواً" ، "مُلابسات غياب" ، "زمن الحب البلاستيكي" ، "أكثر مما يليق بحزن" ، "رقصة الخيبة الأخيرة" ، "فتات عكس مهب الريح" (...) وقصائد أخرى.
