تسعى هذه القراءات النقدية لنماذج من الشعر النبطي الإماراتي إلى أن تستجيب لحدود هذا العنوان أو بالأحرى يتقدم عنوان البحث ذاته لاحتواء هذه القراءات وجعلها تنتظم، على نحو أو آخر، داخل مقترحاته ومنظومته الاصطلاحية.
والعنوان (النزوع الأخلاقي في الشعر الإمارتي النبطي- دراسة تطبيقية) يتضمن -كما يبدو لنا- أكثر من مفهوم، ثم إنه يجتهد في أن يتمثل القراءات وهي تتقصد نماذج منتخبة لعدد من رواد شعراء النبط في الإمارات، إذ من المتوقع لهذه القراءات أن تعطي صورة عن آلية التذوق الجمالي لنصوص من الشعر الشعبي الذي حملته الذاكرة الاجتماعية منتهزة الفرصة المناسبة لتدفع بهذا الشعر إلى مساحات جديدة من الوعي الجمالي والأدبي والفكري والقيمي، وإيجاد أية فرصة سانحة استقصاء بريق الجمال وانعكاساته في بواطن تلك النصوص وطبقاتها.
وعلى العموم فإن مفهوم "النزوع الأخلاقي" يحاول أن يتقصى ملامح ظاهرة نزوع شعراء النبط نحو فكرة "المثالية" في تصويرهم الشعري، إذ نزعم أن السياق الشعري النبطي كان باراً بأفكار الذاكرة الشعبية الإماراتية الأصيلة التي احتفظت به، وأنه استطاع أن يكسب الرأي العام الثقافي ليعبر عن الأنماط السلوكية الإيجابية المرغوب بها في المجتمع متخذاً من منظومة القيم الأخلاقية معايير لتقويم رقي الفعل الإنساني المتمثل في سلوكيات الأفراد على نحو كامل.
