إن من أهم ما يجب أن يكتب في الكتاب العزيز، هو المحاولات الجادة، الواعية لكشف علاقات المعاني بين السور، وكيف كانت هذه العلاقات موجبة للترتيب التوقيفي الذي عليه السور في المصحف، وأي شئ يحدث لو وضعنا النساء بعد البقرة؟ أو وضعنا "إنا أنزلناه" موضع "ألم نشرح؟". أو وضعنا "عبس وتولى" مكان "النازعات"؟ وهكذا. وهذا الباب من أوسع وأغمض وأرفع أبواب البحث في أسرار البيان في الكتاب العزيز، ويستحيل أن ينجز هذا عالم واحد، وإنما هو مشروع دراسي واجب أن يشغل به شيوخ العلم المنقطعون؛ الذين توفرت لهم أدوات البحث ودربوا على دراسة البيان في طبقاته المختلفة، من شعر ونثر؛ لأن الذين لم يقفوا على غوامض الشعر، والنثر، لا يجدون ما يعنيهم في دراسة هذا الباب.
