وهيثم حقي إلى هذا يثير في الكتاب معظم الإشكالات التي يواجهها المعنيون في الحركة الفنية والثقافية، كما يثير في نفس الآونة تساؤلاً لدى القارئ، فهيثم حقي المنتقل إلى التلفزيون والذي يحاول جهده تقديم فن نظيف ومتطور وينجح إلى حد كبير في هذا؛ إلا أن مسحة من الحزن تطل بين حين وآخر وهي تحتل شوقه إلى السينما. ولا تعرف جيداً ما إذا كان هذا الحزن سببه الطموح الذي لا يرتوي ولا يعرف القناعة أم لسبب الحنين إلى "الحبيب الأول".
