يظل الشعر قمة ما يريد إيصاله الشاعر بواسطة بثه الدلالي والإيقاعي للكلمة التي هي المكون الأول للحالة الإنسانية في فرحها ووجَدها، ولإن علاقة الشاعر"اسكندر الديك" بقصائده ليست مجرد مفردات تقال، بل تحيل إلى أكثر من دلالة أو معنى، فهو في (حيلة لي) المجموعة الشعرية الجديدة يكتب للكل للحب وللوطن وللحياة عموماً، حتى يكاد أن يكون ينبوعاً للشعر نقرأ له قصيدة بعنوان (عون وزمن) يقول فيها: "نولد، نعيش/ ننتهي/ نذهب/ نعود/ نصعد/ ننزل/ حاضراً/ ماضياً ومستقبلاً/ حتى يتوقف الزمن/ الزمن؟/ لحظة ضوئية نووية/ تضيء الكون في مسبارٍ صغيرٍ/ ننطلق به من الأرض عالياً/ وبعيداً/ ونعود لنتجذر في ترابها العضوي/ الذي ينتظرنا دون عجالة(...)".
قدم للمجموعة بمقدمة الكاتب عبده وازن رأى من خلالها الشاعر اسكندر الديك "...يستعيد فيها حنايا الذات والخيبات التي شهدها العالم العربي ولبنان ومنها بلا شك هزيمة الأيام السنة عام 1967 التي دمرت الحجر والجسد والروح، كما يعبَر، وهي كانت أيضاً الحافز الأول على هجرة الكتابة الشعرية وانصرافه إلى السياسة والصحافة السياسية(...)".
يضم الكتاب قصائد متعددة الثيمات والأغراض الشعرية جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "قمر مايوركا"، "محكمة الدهر"، "كيف لي"، "بحَ"، "عاشق قلبين"، "قلت لي"، أسئلة"، "أجوبة"،(...) وقصائد أخرى.
