نقولُ الأسئلة، لا الأجوبة. إذ ليس من وظيفة الشعر تقديم الأجوبة ـ إلا من باب فرعي غير مباشر. أضعف الشعر شعر الأجوبة، كائناً ما كانت…
إذاً هي ليست قصائد مصنوعة أو مشغولة، بل هي لوحات وصور تجلو مشاعر وانفعالات وذكريات من حياتي أنا. وفي حيوات الآخرين، كما أظن، ما يشبهها، لكنها لن تكون هي نفسها على الإطلاق. هوذا تفرّد كل إنسان بهوية لا تطابق أي هوية أخرى… ولكن لا تحزن يا صديقي، فمن هذا التفرّد، ومن تلك الشقوق داخل الشخصية نفسها، يولد الشعر!
وأخيراً، فما ستضمه المجموعة هذه، إنما هو تنويع شعري، شعر المشاعر والأسئلة.. كما هو تنويع الموضوعات، كما في الشكل أو القالب الفنّي.. تحمل شيئاً من السياسة والاجتماع والفلسفة..
