إن ما حققه المبدع (مظفر النواب) هو ثورة في الأدب المكتوب باللغة العامية، بكل مقاييس الثورة الإبداعية.يقابل ذلك، والمقارنة من مميزات العقل البشري والمعرفة البشرية ومشكلاتهما في الوقت نفسه،توصيف للتغير الهائل الذي حققه المبدع الكبير (بدر شاكر السياب) بالحركة الشعرية الثورية. وهناك بون واسع بين الثورة والحركة الثورية. في مجال الثورة النوابية كنا أشبه بأناس اعتادوا أن يروا كل يوم بستاناً كبيراً من الأدب العامي ثم نمنا ذات ليلة واستيقظنا قإذا بنا نجد غاية جديدة ساحرة قائمة بجوار البستان السابق لم نألف مظهرها من قبل.. لا في شكل شجرها ولا في ثمرة ولا في تنظيم صفوقه؛ غابة آسرة وجدنا لغة طيورها فقط هي اللغة العامية.. لكنها عامية ليست كتلك العامية التي كنا نسمعها في البستان السابقة. كانت هذه الغابة مستقلة وقائمة بذاتها.. ظهرت هكذا.. وشاهدناها هكذا.. غابة اسمها (مظفر النواب). أما بالنسبة لحركة التجديد الثورية التي قادها السياب فهي وفي تشبيه مواز أشجار باهرة نشأت عبر زمن من أحشاء بستان الأدب المكتوب باللغة الفصحى سابقاً، ظاشجار ولدت من غابة الجواهري... وقد عدت إلى كتاب السيد (علي الخاقاني) المهم (فنون الأدب الشعبي) بأجزائه الأربعة فوجدت أن عدد شعراء العامية الذين وثق نتاجاتهم هو (480) شاعراً بينهم الكثير من الشعراء المعروفين آنذاك شعرياً ووطنياً بفعل مواقفهم الملتزمة، وراجعت منجزهم فلم أجد أحدا منهم يمكن أن تكون له سطوة الجواهري الشعرية الضاربة التي على النواب أن يتمرد عليها من ناحية ولم أجد لأي منهم-على الإطلاق- أي امتدادات فنية أو لغوية أو أو جمالية أو فكرية-مباشرة أو غير مباشرة- في منجز النواب من ناحية أخرى. لقد كان النواب نسيج وحده.. غابة شعرية عامية استيقظنا فوجدناها أمام أعيننا تحدثنا بخطاب عامي جديد على الصعيد الفنية كافة.
