ليس العنوان مجازياً فحسب، بل أنّ اللواء الذي حكم لبنان، ثم انتقل رئيساً لجهاز الأمن السياسي في سورية، ثم وزيراً لداخليتها قبل أن يقتله بشار الأسد... كان حفر قبره في بلدته بحمرا التي تبعد عن القرداحة نحو خمسة كيلومترات فقط... وأنه كان يروي ورود قبره بيديه كلما صعد إلى بيته.
غير أن المفارقة الغريبة، أنه بعد أن دفن في بحمرا، نبش "مجهولون" قبره وسرقوا منه نياشين حصل عليها كانت دفنت معه، وكذلك سيفه الذي تخرّج به وحمله بعد تخرّجه من كلية حمص العسكرية.
والأغرب، كان سبق هذا، حيث رفضت أجهزة أمن بشار، لفّ تابوته بالعلم السوري، أثناء نقله من المستشفى الذي نقل إليه جثمانه بعد قتله، إلى بلدته بحمرا ليدفن في قبره نفسه... لكن أسرته أصرّت على لفّ النعش بالعلم الرسمي، بعد أن وضع في منزله قبل نقله إلى المقبرة.
وليس غريباً أبداً، أن يحمل نعش رستم الغزالي أيضاً دون لفّه بالعلم السوري... بل وصدر نعي أبو عبدو دون أن يتم أي ذكر للجيش أو القوات المسلحة أو الجمهورية العربية السورية، ودون ترفيعه إلى رتبة عماد شرف، كما جرت العادة مع كل الضباط السوريين الذين قتلوا في سورية منذ بدء الثورة، كما جرت العادة مع أي ضابط يقتل ويرفع إلى رتبة أعلى مع كلمة شرف.
