Book Description
إن المراجع التي تحدثت على نسب عُمارة تتفقُ على أنَّه: عُمارةُ بنُ عقيلٍ بن بلالٍ ابن جرير بن عطية بن الخطفى، ومثلما اتفقت المراجع على نسبه، فقد اتفقت على أنَّ كنيةَ عُمارة هي (أبو عقيل)، وأن له ولداً شاعراً هو محمد.
وعمارة بن عقيل شاعر فصيح من شعراء الدولة العباسية؛ إذ أن جميع أخباره تنحصر بين عهدي المأمون والمتوكل، وهو من أهل اليمامة، ويسكن بادية البصرة، وتشير مصادر دراسته إلى أن النحويين في البصرة كانوا يأخذون اللغة عنه.
ومما اشتهر من أخبار عُمارة أنه كان يزور بغداد، ويمدخ خلفاء بني العباس وقوادهم، فيحظى بمالٍ كثيرٍ ومنزلةٍ مرموقة، ويبدو أن عُمارة أمضى زمناً طويلاً في بغداد إبّانَ عهد المأمون، بحيث التهبت في داخله نارُ الشَّوق إلى أهله، لا سيما وأن بعض ما وصل من شعره ما يوضح متانة الوشائح بينه وبين بعض أهل بيته، ومنهم ابنته، التي حاورها ذات مرةٍ بوقله: "حُبَّكِ يا ذاتَ الأُنيفِ الأكشمِ... حُبٌّ تساقاهُ مشاشُ أعظمي".
كما يُروى عن عُمارةَ أنَّه كان هجاءً، إلى جانب مدحهِ الخُلفاءَ والقوّاد، حيث يقول صاحبُ الأغاني: "كان عُمارةُ هجَّاءٌ خبيثَ اللِّسان"، ويُضيفُ: أنَّه هجا امرأةً، ثم أتتهُ في حاجته بعدّ ذلك، فجعلَ يعتذر إليها، فقال خفضَّي عليكِ يا أختي فلو ضرَّ الهجاءً أحداً لقتلكِ وقتلَ أباكِ وجدَّك، كما أنَّهُ هجا فروة بن حميصة الأسدي، وطال التهاجي بينهُما، فلم يغلبْ أحدّهما على صاحبه، حتى قُتلَ فروة.
ويشتهر عمارة بهذه المنزلة العالية في الشعر، لأنه نشأ في بيت من بيوتاتٍ الشِّعر في الإسلام، فكان أبوه عقيل شاعراً، وجدُّه بلالٌ شاعراً، وأبو جدَّه جريرٌ من فحول الشعراء، وأبو جرير.
عطيةُ شاعراً، وجدُّه الخطفى شاعراً، فلا غَروَ، إذنْ، أن نجد عُمارة شاعراً فصيحاً واسع العِلم، ذا منزلةٍ شعريّةٍ جيّدة، حفظتها له المصادر التي ترجمتْ له.
ولأهمية هذا الشاعر الذي اعتبره ابن المعتز شعر أهل زمانه، وقال عنه "محمد بن يزيد" ختمت الفصاحة في شعر المحدثين بعمارة بن عقيل" لذلك جمعت ودواوينه أقلام كثيرة وعملت على شرحها وتنقيحها ومنها السيد "شاكر العاشور" الذي جمع ما تناثر من شعر هذا الرجل في مظان الأدب والتاريخ وعمل على توضيح ما غمُض من معاني كلماته، فإستعان بمعجمات اللغة، وبشرح المصنفين الذي تداولوا شعره.
