مجلة "القرارات الكبرى في الاجتهاد اللبناني والمقارن" تعني بنشر أهم الأحكام والقرارات الصادرة عن القضاء اللبناني والأجنبي بغية إيصالها إلى القارئ كل شهر. فهي إذاً مجلة شهرية. وإذا كانت التسمية تدل على عناية المجلة بالأحكام والقرارات، فمما لا شك فيه أنه قد اهتم بتخصيص ركن منها للتشريع، وآخر للدراسات القانونية، كلما دعت الحاجة وتيسر ذلك.
هذا ولم تقصر المجلة على قرارات محكمة التمييز وحدها، بل جمعت الأحكام والقرارات، سواء كانت صادرة عن قسم أو غرفة بدائية أو استئنافية أو مجلس شورى أو مجلس عمل تحكيمي أو محكمين.
المهم أن يكون الحكم أو القرار نموذجياً، يتضمن من المبادئ ما يشبع نهم القارئ ويعطيه الجديد والمستحدث من أفواه القضاة الناطقين بالقانون. ومن البديهي القول أن الأحكام والقرارات سوف تطال كافة الميادين من مدنية وتجارية وجزائية وتحكيمية وإدارية.
وبين يدينا العدد السابع والثلاثون من هذه المجلة وفيه قرارات صدرت بـ: عدم اختصاص المحاكم الشرعية لبت بدعوى مدعية بقي زوجها مسيحياً، إشهار الإسلام، وجوب حصوله أمام المرجع الديني وبيانه أمام موظف الأحوال الشخصية، بطلان زواج لانعدام الرضى الناجم عن الإكراه والخوف، بطلان زواج بسبب التلجئة الكاملة والنقص في الرضى، بطلان زواج بداعي الغلط في الصفة المؤدي إلى الغلط في الشخص، بطلان زواج بداعي العجز النفساني لدى الزوجين، تغيير المذهب –شروطه- مفاعيله على الإرث، حجر بسبب العته أمام المحاكم الشرعية –شروطه، حضانة واستلام قاصر –الفرق بينهما، زواج –اعتناق المذهب الأرثوذكسي بموافقة الزوجين يعطي الصلاحية لهذه المحاكم، زواج مدني ثم كنسي، عدم اختصاص القضاء المدني للبت بمصيره، صلاحية القضاء الشرعي محددة في قانون هذا القضاء حصراً، طلاق – وقوعه لفظاً أو كتابة- إمكانية توكيل محام سوري، مفقود –كيفية إثبات وفاته- الأصول الواجب إتباعها للحكم بموته، نسب من زواج فاسد –طرق إثباته.
