تتسم الكثير من القرارات الصادرة عن المحاكم المختلفة بكونها نهائية ولكن القانون ينص على آلية لاستعادة هذه القرارات. وهذا الأمر من مبتكرات الاجتهاد وهي عملية تنظمها ضوابط اجتهادية. وفي هذا المجلد يقوم المؤلف طائفة من القرارات الكبرى في الاجتهاد اللبناني، والتي عرضت على المحاكم اللبنانية المختصة.
الكتاب يقع في بابين، الباب الأول مخصص للدراسات، ويتضمن دراسته الأولى عن الحجز الاحتياطي على المؤسسة التجارية، ويبحث في الأصول التي يمكن إتباعها لتحقيق حقوق كل دائن، التي فصلها قانون أصول المحاكمات المدنية. والدراسة الثانية عن استعادة القرار حيث يشير الكاتب إلى القرارين الذين صدرا عن محكمة التمييز اللبنانية بتاريخ 25 نيسان 2001، وهذان القراران دفعا اجتهادات هذه المحكمة نهائياً كما يرى الكاتب.
أما القسم الثاني من الكتاب فهو يعرض لجملة من القرارات التي صدرت عن محكمة الاستئناف والتي أبطلت الكثير من القرارات الصادرة عن المحاكم المختصة.
