يظل الإنسان جداراً لا يحس، ولا يشعر حتى تشقه نظرة حب، وإشعاعة ثغر، ولكن في أحيان كثيرة يمنعه كبرياؤه عن البوح، لذلك كتبت شاعرتنا "فرح إبراهيم عيسى"، (حديث الكبرياء) العنوان الذي انتخبته، لتطرح من خلاله ثيمة جديدة تضيفها إلى قاموس الشعر، وقاموس المرأة بالأخص (الكبرياء) فهل من حديث للكبرياء.
تقول الشاعرة "وكأنني أضعت شيئاً ثميناً... أفتش عنه... ويهاجمني الغضب... أحاول أن أتريث ويخونني النفس... أنظر حواليّ... يعبق السمع... في دوامة القلق... تلمسني... تضمني... وأغلّ في صدرك... كالتائه في فيء القمر... هناك أجد إنعكاس الشمس... وهناك أجد ما أضمت... ويرقد الغضب... لتختلي النفس بالنفس"...
بهذه البصيرة الشعرية ترسم الشاعرة "فرح" هُويتها منذ البدايات "أنا نسمة حُبٍّ تبحث عن عشق" هذه النسمة منعشة في الحياة الرتيبة المتعبة، فتنتفض على واقعها، وتبحث بجرأة، عن الجيب "وهي على أرضها تعي"، لكنها تعرف بحدس الأنثى... الشاعرة أن بحثها سيوصلها إلى الحب الكبير.
يضم الكتاب قصائد في الشعر العربي الحديث وخواطر، جاءت تحت العناوين "لا أجرؤ النظر في عينين"، "أفتقدك في دقات المطر"، "على جبال الهوى أتأرجح"، "السعادة تختصرها البدايات"، "زئير قلب يصدح"... وعناوين أخرى.
