قيل قديماً ... إذا هبت رياحك فاغتنمها ...
ولقد هبت رياح الجود لفكري وما شعرت حتى أنهيت هذه الكلمات، فوالله لو تأخرت في كتابة هذه السطور لعلني لا أكتبها أبداً، فهذه الكلمات جزء مني، وبقية مما ترك آل الشوق والغرام العفيف، كتبتها بأيدٍ متوضئة، وبفؤاد واعٍ، وبأسلوب رهيف، كتبتها لفريدة من الخلق، لا مثيل لها، ولو كتبت هذه الكلمات لغيرها ما خرجت من اللسان ولا سمعتها الآذان، فهي من أعماق روحي لأعماق روحها، ولم تمر لحظة على عين ولا أذن، ولم اشترِ بها ثمناً قليلاً، بل كانت مصدر قوتي، وسعادة محياها، وكلانا ابتسم لهذه الكلمات ثم ضحك ثم بكى ثم ابتسم ثانية من أثرها.
كنت سعيداً لكتابتها، وكانت سعيدة لقراءتها، وكنا سعيدين لهذا الكتاب الذي يُقرأ بعين الروح لا عين الجسد، فتحت كل حرف من حروفه معنى خالد، لا يفهمه ألا من كان عضواً في مؤسسة الطمأنينة العتيقة وما أقلهم.
إن هذه الكلمات هي رصيدي من دنياها، وهي نصيبي من قلبها، وهي حظي من عقلها، فقد عشنا بها حيناً من الدهر، وسنعيش به حيناً آخر، حتى يقضي الله أمراً كان مفعولاً.
