"إلى أمي.. لأنها عوّدت الكتاب والقمر، وقصص المساء والليل.. والنافذة الخضراء على السهر.. إلى عصافير النهر، عصفورة النهر والدفء.. في قصائد الشتاء...".
بهذه العبارات يستهل المؤلف روايته التي مزجت الخيال بالواقع، خيال الكاتب، وأحداث الحياة اليومية التي عاشها الكاتب في القرية التي رحل عنها منذ وقت طويل. لكنه في الوقت نفسه يعود ليقتحم الماضي وما يمت له بصلة كي يتخلص منه ويرتاح من عبئه الثقيل أنه يعود تحو الأمكنة التي لم تترك عنده إلا الألم.
لقد أجاد الكاتب عملية اقتناص الأفكار والتعبير عنها بأسلوبه المتقن الذي يشيء بتملك الكاتب لأدواته.. فهو يحكي قصته الانسلاخ عن الواقع التي يعيشها الإنسان العربي الذي تقذف به الظروف ومسالك الحياة إلى خارج وطنه.
كأنها ليست باكورة هذه الباكورة.
كأنها مكتوبة مراراً بحبر التجربة وقلم الاختبار. ومع أن صاحبها اختار باريس سكناً وحياة، تبقى على هدب قلمه أنواركم اكتنزها من فجر لبنان، وتبقى على غلاف تجربته مسحة من مناخ روحه اللبنانية.
كأنما ليست رواية هذه التي بين يديك، بل سلخ من أيام تربط بينها مسحة خفية من واقع معاش، يرمي إلى إسقاط الخيال الروائي على الأحداث الواقعية.
شدني في الرواية خيط ذكي ربط به توفيق أبو حيدر أحداث روايته إلى أشخاصها، وعرف كيف ينسج فصول التسلسل الروائي من دون أن يثقل على قارئه بجهد أبعد من المتابعة السلسة الهادلة.
ولعله بهذا الخيط يخطو نحو عالم الرواية والقصة الطويلة خطوة أولى وثقى، ويتكرس في بداية ليست متعثرة (أياً تكن تهويمات الإطلالات الأولى التي لا بد منها عند أولى الخطوات)، ليواعد عالمه أولاً ثم عالم قرائه، بآتيات من كتاباته ترسخه أكثر فأكثر متمكناً في الجذور.
في "السنين الآتية من لا مكان" إطار موصل. أما الوصول فعليك. توفيق أبو حيدر، من حيث ابتدأ، يعد بالثقة.
والثقة أبلغ خطوة لقلم يتطلع إلى فوق، صوب شرف الكلمة.
