فضاءان اثنان يتوزعان السرد في رواية "حاموت" لكاتبة العراقية وفاء عبد الرزاق، الأول واقعي، دنيوي، والثاني، متخيل، أخروي، وبين هذان الفضاءان تتناول وفاء عبد الرزاق مختلف جوانب الحياة التي يحيا فيها إبن الإنسان، فتنتقل من مشهد إلى آخر، ومع السرد، نروح نكشف العلاقات بين البشر وشرائعهم منذ بدء الخلق والخليقة وحتى العصر الراهن منها "شريعة العصا والحجارة، الخنجر والسيف، شريعة القذيفة والرصاصة ...، شريعة القتل الجماعي، غرق السفن والبواخر، شريعة الفيضانات والكوارث ...". فهل أرادت الكاتبة صياغة أفكارها في إطار روائي، حيث يجد القارىء نفسه أمام رؤية فلسفية لإشكالية الموت ومفهوم الحياة أكثر منها رواية، حيث تتسلل إلى النص مقاطع نقدية ساخرة "يجتمع وزراؤنا ورؤساؤنا من أجل ابتكار الموت .. وليس من أجل اختراع عقار يقضي على السرطان .. من أجل الخضوع التام لأسيادهم، ليس للقضاء على الأمية والجريمة، وإنهاء النزاع. يجتمعون كي يسب بعضهم بعضاً ويغفوا أغلبهم في الإجتماع، ثم يخرجون بحصيلة الشتيمة والفراغ". إذن في الرواية نعثر على تعبير عن أفكار في إطار سردي، وقد أسندت إليها بنات عقلها للتعبير عن آراء وشطحات وتصورات وفلسفة حياة تقترب من الواقع الذي يعيشه الناس الآن، فكانت رواية أشبه بكتب "النبي" لجبران، و "مرداد" لنعيمة، و"خالد" للريحاني". وعلى اية حال، تبقى "حاموت" نصاً روائياً عصياً على التفسير يطرق مناطق وعرة لم تطرقها الرواية العربية منذ تيار الواقعية الإشتراكية، تولي فيه وفاء عبد الرزاق الإهتمام لهوامش تستحق العيش، وقيعان تستحق أن تطفو على السطح بعد سبات طويل.
