"حوار الأديان وبناء الدولة" قراءة في المشهد السياسي اللبناني بقلم الأستاذ عباس الحلبي، تتناول قضايا فكرية عن (الحوار الإسلامي المسيحي) وتتفتح على غير حقل ومجال، داخل لبنان وخارجه، فيها الكثير من المساءلة والمراجعة وإعادة للنظر فيما يحصل في ظل متغيرات جيدة.
في المقدمة التي يفتتح بها الكاتب عمله يقول: " ... في هذه الكتابات والأعمال لا تظهر المواقف الحادة التي لو قُدّر لي كتابتها اليوم لكانت أكثر صراحةً في التوصيف والإتهام ...". ويقول في مكان آخر "كم خرجت بانطباعات سلبية من منتديات الحوار عندما تبدأ المسايرة والملاطفة، أو عندما أشعر بأن المتحدث يحابي وهو في المسألة ذاتها قد أبدى راياً مغايراً في حقل آخر، أو عندما يفقد المتحدث الصدق مع نفسه ومع الآخر ...". من هنا يكشف الكاتب أن عالم البشر يتشكل مما ينتجونه من الحقائق أو يخلقونه من الوقائع، بل يكشف للقارىء ما يمارسه خطاب من يدعون الحقيقة من التلاعب والخداع والزيف، ما يحملنا على إعادة ترتيب العلاقة بين الخطأ والصواب، وعدم النظر أي كان أنه مالك الحقيقة ومحتكرها، "أن تكون رجل حوار لا يعني ألا تتعاطى الشأن السياسي، مع ضرورة التنبه دائماً إلى ضرورة محاذرة السقوط في السياسة على النحو الذي تسلكه الطبقة السياسية اللبنانية وفق قاعدة إدارة المحاصصة والمصالح الشخصية والطائفية ...". من هنا تأتي أهمية هذا الكتاب الذي استغرق وضع مادته ما يقارب الخمس سنوات (2005-2009) وهي مرحلة حافلة بالأحداث السياسية التي انعكست غنى في الموضوعات التي تناولها المؤلف وعبر المنابر التي قيلت فيها، وقد وضع فيها الكاتب كامل خبرته ومهنيته وأفكاره كرجل حوار يحترم قناعات الآخرين.
