أيامنا في المنفى مع الشعر والوطن، في الجلد... أيامنا في المنفى مع الحنين إلى المهد... أيامنا في المنفى مع أحاسيس وأحاديث القلب...
بعض هذه الأحاديث ليست لها أية صلة بـ "أيامنا في المنفى (أيامي في الغرب)" مثل : "صديق الطفولة" و"صديق الشباب" أو أيضاً "رسالة من وراء البحر". ولكن هؤلاء الأشخاص البعيدين علي جسمياً، يعيشون معي في عقلي وذاكرتي وقلبي، وهذه هي العلاقة الوحيدة التي أجدها لهم مع "أيامنا في المنفى".
وقد سجلت أغلب الاحساسات والانطباعات التي أشعر بها، والواقع الذي عشته والتجارب التي مرت بحياتي هنا في الغرب، بسرعة أثناء عملي في المستشفى، وبعضها في المنزل أثناء أيام راحتي.
