Book Description
تاريخ البشرية تاريخ مضطرب، تحتل فيه الحروب حيزاً واسعاً، أما السلام فمجرد فترات زمنية، تطور أو تقصر، تقع بين حربين على حدّ ما لاحظه أحد الفلاسفة، غير أن السؤال المطروح في هذا المعجم ليس لماذا تقع الحروب بين البشر، بل كيف حدثت الحروب على أرض الواقع على مدى الأزمنة والايام. والدلالة واحدة في هذا المضمار، بين الحروب التي نشبت في الماضي وبين تلك التي تقع اليوم. فالحرب وسيلة عسكرية لتقويم مسار سياسي أو لفرض مسار سياسي جديد على بلد معين أو على شعب معين.
وهذا المعجم بني ترتيبه على أهم الحروب، أسباب وقوعها وقد رتب ترتيباً ألفبائياً حسب اسم الحرب ومن أهم الحروب التي دونها في هذا القاموس حرب المعدمين، حرب كامبوديا، حرب العصابات، حرب موكلاند، حرب ديان بيان، حرب إنكلترا، حرب التطهير الأثني، حرب المئة سنة، حرب الهند الصينية، حرب العراق/إيران، حرب حزيران 1967، الحرب اللبنانية، حروب طروادة، الحروب الصليبية... كما يحتوي المعجم على بعض الصور الفوتوغرافية البيانية التي توضح فضائح الحروب وويلاتها.
