منذ سنوات عديدة والأب "سهيل قاشا" يمارس اعترافات المؤمنين من خلال كراسي الاعتراف في كنائس عديدة بأنحاء مختلفة من لبنان، وكانت الحصيلة التي خرج بها أنه وجد الغالبية العظمى وخاصة جيل الحرب الماضية (1975-1991) وما بعدها لا يعرفون كيف يمارسون سر الاعتراف بالخطايا، ولا يفقهون شروطه والاستعدادات التي ترافقه من فحص الضمير والمدامة والتوبة والإقرار ووفاء القانون. كما أن الشباب منهم والصبايا وحتى الشيوخ والعجائز لا يتقنون صلاة الاستعداد.
وعليه وجد من الضرورة وضع كتيبه الذي بين يدينا الذي يتناول فيه معنى الخطيئة وأنواعها والرذائل وأقسامها. ثم التوبة والندامة والاعتراف الجيد والكامل مع وفاء القانون وكيفية ممارسة الاعتراف.
ثم تناول بإسهاب فحص الضمير وأنواع الخطايا بالتفصيل لمساعدة المعترف على الاعتراف الصالح والعميق مع الصلوات الخاصة واللازمة للقيام بالاعتراف الصالح والناجح.
