الكهنوت مقاومة والشعر مقاومة، الكاهن مقاوم من حيث لا يدري حينما يحارب كل الماديات والجسديات والأباطيل. والشاعر مقاوم من حيث لا يدري حينما يلقي قصائده في محراب المقاومة من على منابر الحق وساحات الوطنية معلناً الحقيقة، نافحاً الفخر والحماسة في شعبه. كلاهما؛ الكاهن والمقاوم يثيران أحاسيس الوطن ومشاعر أبنائه بحب المواقف في مصارعة المغتصب والمحتل. الكاهن يبشر بالكلمة الأزلية الأبدية والمقاوم ينادي بالكلمة البندقية، فالقلم والبندقية موهبة واحدة.
من هذا المنطلق سطر الأب "سهيل قاشا" قصائده هذه وهي مسلوخة من شرايين الشاعر وأورودته لينسج منها رايات الصمود والتحدي. سمّاها "النقافة والحجر" اهتداء بثورة الحجارة الأولى وتخليداً لانتفاضة الحجر الثانية في الأقصى. وهكذا أتى ديوانه الثالث هذا، بعد "خواطر في لبنان" و"أغاني الغربة وأناشيد الحصار"، مساهمة متواضعة بين أحجار الانتفاضة الكبرى، يحكي فيها حكاية شعب أبيّ، شجاع، كريم، شهم، يتعرض إلى حملة إبادة كل يوم وسط جحيم شارون والصهيونية العالمية.
