لم يكن ناصر يعلم... أن وحش الأسنان كان مختبئاً بين بقايا الطعام التي بقيت عالقة بين أسنانه... والتي لم يحاول التخلص منها بغسل أسنانه بالفرشاة والمعجون كما طلبت منه أمه... ولذلك... فقد انتظر ذلك الوحش حتى يهدأ الجو من حوله... وينام ناصر بعمق... ثم بدأ يخرج رأسه من مخبئه شيئاً فشيئاً... وحينما اطمأن إلى هدوء المكان من حوله... أطلق صفارته الصغيرة... فخرجت وحوش الأسنان كلّها من بين فضلات الطعام... لتبدأ بالتهام أسنانه... وهكذا غلى أن تحرك ناصر فجأة في فراشه... وبدأ يصرخ: آي... أي أنقذوني... النجدة... يا ترى ما الذي أيقظ ناصر؟ وما الذي يألمه؟ ومن هم هؤلاء الوحوش الذي ظهروا فجأة في فمه؟ أجوبة هذه الأسئلة هو ما سيقرأه الطفل في هذه القصة المصورة والتي تحمل بين طياتها أهداف تربوية وأخرى تثقيفية.
