دراسة جريئة تعيد النظر في الشعر الحديث وتطرح تساؤلات عديدة منها؛ هل يصبح القول إنَّ الحب، في مرحلة الحداثة، هو حب سويّ ومعافى؟ هل تصدر تلك العاطفة عن العالم السفلي حيث شياطين التعقيدات النفسية؟ ما هي البشارة التي يزفّها إلينا هؤلاء الشعراء؟ وهل ساهموا في ولادة الإنسان العربي الجديد كما يطمحون؟.
إنَّ تياراً جديداً، ينبغي أن يمتد ويعانق هذه الأرض العربية الحزينة، لعلنا نتدخل في مرحلة ثقافية من معالمها الوعي النقدي، والتفكير الجذري، وتمحيص النتاج الأدبي منذ عصر النهضة، مروراً بحركة الحداثة، وحتى اليوم، فلا سلطة تعلو على سلطة العقل، ولا هالة تحمي الفرد في سبيل إكتشاف الحقيقة، مسوّغ الوجود، ومعيار تحقيق الذات.
