يتضمن هذا الكتاب قراءة في أعمال "جاك دريدا" في العقل، والكتابة، والختان، أو بمعنى آخر هو بحث مضني عن حقيقة الكتابة أو كذبها. لقد نقم جاك دريدا على الكتابة، واعتبر أن كل كتابة هي "شهادة زور" لأن الكتابة قابلة للمفاوضة الدائمة والتأويل، وكونها قابلة للمفاوضة والتأويل فهي قابلة للتحويل والتجيير وكأنها السند المالي الذي يجبر من شخص إلى آخر. تعتبر الدكتورة أمينة غصن في مؤلفها هذا أن جاك دريد، بدأ يجيَر النصوص لحسابه الخاص، ويبعثرها كيفما اتفق بعد أن اعلن موت فاعلها ليصبح النص نهباً منتكهاً بكل المحرمات، فيفتح على تأويلات تنقض تأويلات... وفي هذه الحال تصبح الكتابة التي تحمل أثر الحاضر وتبقي عليه ما لا نهاية، تصير هي ذاتها حاضراً وماضياً ومستقبلاً...
يتحدث الكتاب عن ملامح جاك دريدا "العقدة" أو "اللغز" وهي ملامح تراوح بين الإغراء والغوايه وبين الرعب والخفة لقد ولد جاك دريدا في البيار في الجزائر، وعندما يسأل يرد قائلاً: "ولدت في..." ولكني "لم أحضر ولادتي" فمن يقول إن الولادة واحدة لا تتعدد؟ "ربما" أنا لم أولد بعد، لأن الزمن الذي تحددت فيه هويتي الإسمية هو الزمن المسروق مني وعلى حسابي". إن زمن الهوية هو زمن الثقافة، وزمن الثقافة هو زمن الأزمنة التي ترفض "فخ الهوية" وأنا أنتمي إلى أزمنة أخرى ليست أزمنة ولادتي، وأمكنة أخرى ليست هي أمكنة واقعي.
من محتويات الكتاب نذكر: ألوهية الكتابة وكذب التفسير، أزمنة المعني بين سقراط ودريدا، نيتشه: رائد تفكيكة دريدا، دريدا: في الإبراهيمية: ألغة أم هوية؟ دريدا في نصوص الأرض لا السماء...الخ.
لما سأل غلوكون سقراط: "من هم الفلاسفة الحقيقيون؟ أجاب سقراط: هم الذين يحبون الحقيقة التي تنقض الظن، لأن الظن والحقيقة "غيران".
ولما سئل جاك دريدا من هو الفيلسوف قال: "هو الكائن المستعار" الذي يُسَلِّم بأصل هو تخمة لا وحدة فيها، ولا نواة لها، ولا أصل. فالأصل عند الفيلسوف يُعادي المجهول، لأن من ضروراته أن يتسمّى، وهو إذ يتسمى يحيل الأصالة هجنة ويستدعي "التفكيك".
