ان هذا النمط من العلاقات التجارية فتح آفاقاً واسعة من التعاون سرعان ما تجاوز القارات وساهم في نقل المعرفة والتكنولوجيا كما ترك بصماته الثقافية كذلك يتناول الباحث في دراسته القيمة المقارنة هذا العقد بجوانبه المتعددة متنقلاً بين التشريعات التي صدرت حول الموضوع بمنهجية عملية قانونية عالية.
وقد قسم البحث على ثلاثة فصول يسبقها فصل تمهيدي، تناول الفصل التمهيدي التعريف بعقد الامتياز التجاري، وتناول الفصل الاول التعريف بمحل عقد الامتياز التجاري ومصادر الملكية الفكرية، أما الفصل الثاني فتناول فيه العناصر التي يتكون منها المحل في عقد الامتياز التجاري، أما الفصل الثالث، فخصص لدراسة العلامة التجارية، ثم أنهى الدراسة بخاتمة تتضمن الاستنتاجات والتوصيات التي توصل اليها خلال هذه الدراسة.
