تلعب دور البطولة على مسرح هذه القصة المقامة أخشابه على الساحل الفلسطيني والمطل على الأحداث, التي شهدتها مدينة (يافا) والشارع العربي ،في الفترة الواقعة ما بين ( 1941 – 1951 ) مع عدد من الشخوص الرمزية المتنوعة, التي تقوم برسم مشاهد القصة الدرامية الشيقة بأسلوب درامي سهل يذوب فيه الحدث التاريخي الموثِّق, دون إرهاق لفكر وعقل المشاهد, معتمداً المنهج العلمي الفني للقصة بعيداً عن الاستنباط والتشويه ، غني بالبحث والتحري والصور الاجتماعية والإنسانية والوطنية، وفي مشاهد ، ورؤى( بانورامية) واضحة للأحداث المتعاقبة ، إنها صورة حية لأحداث فترة زمنية مهمة جداً من تاريخ فلسطين والأمة العربية والعالم ،رسمها الكاتب بالكلمات بدلاً عن الألوان.
واسمحوا لي أن أعود بكم إلى مسرح القصة؛ولنطل على منظر (بانورامي) عام لمدينة (يافا) عام (1941) م, حيث الشوارع تضج بالشاحنات والسيارات ، الميناء تعلو حركته على أصوات الموج وصفير البواخر . خضرة بيارات البرتقال وروائح أزهار الليمون والياسمين تغلب على لون البحر الأزرق,التي تنتشر في أحيائها وأطرافها, وكأن السماء تغسلها بالعطر
