"عرش الروح وإنسان الدهر" كتاب جديد لسماحة الشيخ شفيق جرادي / مدير عام معهد المعارف الحكمية للدراسات الدينية والفلسفية في لبنان، يرتكز في مضمونه على مكانة (القلب) بالنسبة إلى الذات الإنسانية، ودوره في تبيان حقيقة الطبيعة البشرية. وفي هذا المجال يثير المؤلف أسئلة فلسفية حول طبيعة السلوك الإنساني مثل علاقة الطبع بالمزاج، أو ما يسمى عند الفلاسفة والطب القديم بالأمزجة الربعة، فيسأل عن انعكاسات هذا الطبع في السلوك الإنساني؟ فيقول لنا: إذا كانت هذه هي الحدود التي رسمها علم النفس الحديث لنفسه في دراسة الطبيعة، فمن حق مبحث الطبيعة في الأديان أن يمتد للسؤال عن منشأ الإنسان، ولِمَ كان؟ وما هي مكوناته الوجودية؟ ومما يتشكل من حيث الجوهر والأعراض؟ وكيف يتمحور حول نفسه وينفسح في ميادين امتدادات الغيب والروح والعالم؟
ولمزيد من الفائدة يورد المؤلف آراء مفكرين وفلاسفة ويناقش ويحلل ويفكك الأفكار والمقولات بحثاً عن يقين، فهل (القلب هو الإنسان بمعنى النفس والروح، وليس مجرد "العضو المدرك في البدن" إذ باستمراره يستمر الإنسان، مما يعني أن "مبدأ الحياة هو القلب، وما هو دور :الشعور، والإرادة، والحب، والبغض، والرجاء، والخوف، ولا يقتصر المؤلف على هذه التساؤلات بل "يعتبر كلّ نسبة للقلب إلى الصدر أو الإدراك أو النفس أو غيره، إنما هي من باب المجاز، أما القلب فهو الروح بلحاظ سريانه في كامل ذات الإنسان، ولهذا السبب ورداً أحياناً التعبير عنه بمعنى أو بمفردة العقل }إن في ذلك لذكرى لمن كان له قلب أو ألقى السمع وهو شهيد{.
هذا ما يقوله المؤلف في هذا الكتاب عبر مقالتين: المقالة الأولى من مبحث القلب بلحاظ موقعه من الإنسان وإلهيات المعرفة؛ والمقالة الثانية هي للبحث حول الذات، أو "الأنا"، حسب النصوص، وكيف نقرأها بموجب خيارات إلهيات المعرفة البحثية.
