إنّ ثلث قرن من التعليم الجامعي لأرصدة النقد وتحليل الخطاب والمقاربات النصّية، ومن الإشراف والمشاركة في مناقشة عشرات الرسائل والأطاريح وفي اللجان العلمية، ومن الخبرة والممارسة النقدية، فضلاً عن شهادتي دكتوراه في النقد ومناهج البحث الأدبي واللغوي، كان كافياً للحظ التطوّر الحاصل في النقد، ولكشف نقص النظريات وغموضها، وصعوبة تطبيقاتها.
وقد تلمّست، خلال تلك السنوات، حاجة الطلاّب والباحثين إلى المعرفة والثقافة النقدية، وإلى نماذج تسعفهم في دراساتهم ومباحثهم الاكاديمية، ولا سيّما أن الأطاريح الجامعية التي يمكن إعتبارها قدوة تكاد تكون نادرة، ويضاف إلى ما تقدّم أنّ القراءات النصّية المختلفة بدأت تعطي مزيداً من التركيز على البراغماتية وتحليل الخطاب، والإستفادة من مكتشفات السيميائية، ولا سيّما في القراءات السوسيولوجية والنفسية والتفكيكية.
وإنّي إذ أقدّم مجموعتي النقدية المتكاملة هذه، والموضّحة للنظريات المختلفة، والمعزّزة بمقاربات ودراسات تطبيقية عديدة ومتنوّعة، حيث انتقيت من النظريات ما يلائم وجهة نظري الخاصّة في تأسيسٍ لنقدٍ يركّز في النصّ والخطاب، ويحترم خصوصية الأدب أوّلاً وأخيراً، وينطلق منه ليعدّد قراءاته ويعمّق تأويلاته، وينزع إلى منهجية علمية صارمة، من دون أن يلغي خصوصية المؤلّف ولا القارئ.
