يمثل كتب "الصراط" مجموعة من الأحاديث في التعريف بالصراط وعقابه، وبيان صفة خلاص المؤمن من أهل الإقرار، ومصير أهل الخلف والجحود.
وهي أحاديث رواها عن جعفر الصادق أحد المقربين منه (المفضل بن عمر الجعفي).
ورغم أن الكتاب يمس العقائد النصيرية ويلقي الضوء عليها، إلا أنه لم يحظ بدراسة مفردة -على أهميته- وقد حقق هذا الكتاب على نسخة وحيدة تعد نصاً فريداً نادراً، وقدم له محققه بدراسة عرفت بالمفضل الجعفي وحللت متن المخطوطة، في عمل أكاديمي جاد يساهم في تبيان عقائد فرقة لا يزال يكتنفها الغموض إلى الآن.
