مثل إهتمامنا بالشعر العربيّ المعاصر ومداراً تحرّكت عليه أعمالنا منذ أصدرنا كتاب "شعريّة وقضيّة" خصّصناه لعلم من أعلام الشعر الفلسطيني.
وكانت لدينا رغبة قويّة في الإهتمام بتجربة الشاعر الفلسطينيّ محمود درويش منذ أن نبّه أستاذنا توفيق بكار، في أحد الدّروس، في إطار شهادة التّعمق في البحث خلال السّنة الجامعيّة 1987- 1988، إلى أهمية هذا الشاعر وإلى قيمة خطابه الشعريّ.
وظلت هذه الرّغبة دفينة إلى أن وجهت لنا إدارة دار المعلمين العليا بمدينة ليون (بفرنسا) دعوة لتقديم درس خاص بــ (الغنائيّة والإلتزام والنزعة الإنسانية) في شعر درويش إعتماداً على مجموعتين هما: حالة حصار وكزهر اللوز أو أبعد، وكان ذلك في إطار الإعداد لشهادة التّبريز في العربيّة.
أنجزنا ذلك الدّرس في الأسبوع الأخير من شهر نوفمبر 2011 في حدود ما أتاحاه الوقت والجهد، لكنّنا ارتأينا أن نلبي رغبة في البحث سكنتنا لسنواتٍ، فأقبلنا على الأعمال الأخيرة لهذا الشاعر الذي أعاد للشعر العربيّ المعاصر ألقّه، ودرب القرّاء على تذوّق هذا اللون من ألوان الإبداع تدريباً تجدّد مع كل مجموعة أصدرها، متجاوزاً بها ذاته الشعريّة نأيا بها عن التّنميط والسّير في درب معبّد...
