تشهد حالة التديّن اليوم امتداداً عريضاً في الساحة العالمية، وتعدّ دعوة الأستاذ البنا من أبرز الوسائط العمَلية لهذه الحالة؛ بل ومكوِّناً فاعلاً للنشاط الحرَكيّ الإسلامي، ومع اتساع الحركة عبر عقود التأسيس والبناء في مجالات متنوعة ومستويات مختلفة، كان لها ولأدبياتها الحضور الأبرز في صياغة مفاهيم وأعراف البيت الدعوي الحركي وآثاره في المجتمع وفي صناعة أنماط وملامح لجيل غدا كتلةً حرجةً ضمن منظومة التغيير اليوم. من هنا جاءت فكرة الكتاب الذي تشكّل مع وعي مؤلفه عبر إصدارات وإضافات وتنقيحات، ليتناول مسألتين رئيستين تشكّلان مقاربةً نقديةً في واقع الحركة اليوم: المسألة التربوية واستجلاؤها من خلال ظروف النشأة والتكوين وامتدادها عبر الكتابات والإجابات وتطبيقاتها في تقنيات التشكيل والتأطير. والمسألة الفكرية في بعديها: العقدي الأصلي والمعرفي الكلي، والتي برزت في كتابات العقيدة ورسالة التعاليم ومكوّناتها الثلاثة: الأركان والأصول والواجبات. وإننا بأمس الحاجة إلى مراجعة مناهجنا الدعوية وتحريرها من أي دَخَنٍ داخَلَها، فكان الكتاب دعوة لإعمال النظر في أصل المهمة التي تعبّدنا الله بها ومدى المقاربة مع تلك المهمة في واقعنا ومواقعنا. ولعل (حسن البنا والحلقة المفقودة) مسوَّدة أولى وصيغة أولية تحفز الباحثين والعاملين والمهتمين على حد سواء للمراجعة والنظر وبذل الفكر في تأسيس معالم البيت الدعوي الحركي تزامناً مع بارقة النهضة التي يتحسّسها أهل الإسلام ويَنشدون بها صناعة الفرْق في عالم غدا قرية كونية.
