لقد وصف مسؤولو الأثار والخبراء الهجوم على المتحف الوطني العراقي على أنه يحمل مؤشرات علمية سرقة منفذة بدقة أكثر منها عمليات سرقة عشوائية عن الرعاع.
هذه الرواية هي سرد للأحداث عما "يمكن ان يكون قد حدث" لإستعادة هذه التحفيات الفنية القيَّمة.
