تخرج من معهد الادارة الذي يعمل على اعداد موظفين للوظائف العليا في الدولة، وكان رئيس دائرة في عدة وزارات.
عمل لفترة قصيرة مع الامم المتحدة،الاسكوا.
متفرغ للكتابة منذ حوالي ست سنوات.
يكتب في الميدان السياسي والفكري في عدد من الصحف اللبنانية والعربية: النهار اللبنانية، السفير، الحياة، الوسط (الكويت)، اوان (الكويت)، موقع الاوان.
صدر له كتابان عن دار الطليعة في بيروت، الاول بعنوان : المجتمعات العربية المأزومة واعاقات الحداثة المركبة في العام 2008، والثاني : وجها لوجه مع الفكر الاصولي في العام الجاري 2009.
Book Description
يضمّ هذا الكتاب مجموعة من النصوص تتصل بمعضلات مزمنة تعاني منها المجتمعات العربية منذ قرون، وهي معضلات لا تزال تمسك بتلابيب الحاضر وتفرض عليه توجّهات باتت عملياً خارج الزمن وخارج التاريخ.
فلم تكن هزيمة حزيران هزيمة عسكرية فحسب، بمقدار ما كانت هزيمة شاملة لمشروع نهضوي، طالت الجيوش والشعوب والثقافة والفكر والإقتصاد... وأوقعت المجتمعات العربية في أحوال كارثية لفَّت مجمل القضايا التي تمتّ إلى الحداثة والتحديث بصلة، كقضية الديمقراطية، والحريات السياسية والفكرية، ووضع المثقفين والسياسيين وكافة العاملين الإجتماعيين دونما إستثناء.
كما شهدت المجتمعات العربية أنشداداً إلى الماضي وتقديماً للموروثات وغرقاً في عوالم الخرافات والأساطير، وإنبعاثاً للحركات الدينية الأصولية بفكرها المتخلف ونزعاتها المتطرّفة، وتخلفاً على صعيد العلم والتقنية، ومستويات قياسية على صعيد البطالة والأمّية وهجرة الأدمغة... إلخ.
إن هذا الإنهيار الشامل في بنى الدولة العربية لا ينفصل في الواقع من الإعاقات المركبة التي تعترض مسار الحداثة والتحديث، فإذا بنا نشهد عملية تفكك وتذرر لتلك الدولة لصالح البنى القبلية والعشائرية والطائفية والإثنية؛ وهو إنبعاث خطير بدأ يترجم نفسه حروباً أهلية ومذهبية ستكون لها أوخم العواقب على شعوب المنطقة العربية بأسرها.
