إن هذه الدراسة التي تقدمها المؤلفة رغم أنها كانت مسبوقة بدراسات وضعت عن الواسطي، جاءت لتسد حاجة في المكتبة العربية إلى مثل هذه الدراسات، فهي دراسة عميقة ومفصلة تساعد في الكشف عم أهم العناصر المتميزة في تلك المنمنمات وخاصة أسلوبها الفني وقيمتها الجمالية والتكوين فيها.
