ولا بد ان نلفت النظر إلى ما قدمته تلك المآثر من أحداث ارتبطت بتاريخ الإنسان وبداية الخليقة والتي ركزت حول نشوء الحياة والجنة وخلق الإنسان، والتي تطورت بعد ذلك إلى القصة الدينية المعروفة، وكانت تلك الأحداث تظهر بوضوح أحياناً أو بشكل غامض فيه الكثير من التورية أحياناً اخرى.
وقد تأثرت الأعمال الفنية الجدارية والأختام الأسطوانية بذلك كثيراً، غير ان ما يهمنا هنا ما جاء في الختم المعروف (بختم الإغراء الذي يقدم صورة (تشكيلية) واضحة المعالم وبتركيز شديد لقصة الفردوس - وهذا ما سوف أتحدث عنه - والذي عناصره من رجل وامرأة وأفعى، ويمكن أن أساسه متابعة المنابع الأولى ودراستها بشكل مفصل وعدها أحد الركائز الأساس لتلك القصة.
