إن الفكر الجمالي هو ذروة المتحقق الإبداعي، ولا يمكن أن يوجد الإبداع الحقيقي المؤثر بمعزل عن منتوج المخيلة والفكر، والشعر - في أهم مؤثراته ومحطاته الإبداعية - أنه منتوج الرؤيا والفكر، ولا يمكن أن يجيد عنها لتخليق الإبداع، وإن من يطلع على قصائد (أولئك أصحابي) لحميد سعيد يدرك أن اللعبة الشعرية في أهم تجلياتها أنها حركة مفتوحة في رؤاها، ومؤشراتها الإبداعية، على فضاء المتخيل الشعري الجمالي.
فالشاعر لم يستحضر الشخصيات الروائية ليرمز من خلالها على مرحلة، أو فترة زمنية ماضية، إنه أراد أن يعبر - من خلالها - عن حياته العاصفة التي مرت في لحظات إغترابه وقلقه الوجودي، وتعد هذه القصائد متنوعة الشخصيات، والمواقف، والأحداث، والرؤى؛ فهي مفتوحة على الحياة بشقيها السلبي والإيجابي.
ولهذا يخطئ من يصنف هذه الشخصيات ضمن الإطار الرومانسي، أو الإطار الواقعي، إنها تمثل وجوه الحياة المتناقضة بجوانبها كلها، ومن أجل ذلك فإن هذه الشخصيات تنأى عن التأطير والقولبة والتنميط، أو حتى الحكم الإنطباعي عليها، كأن تؤطرها في جانب ما من جوانب الحياة، ولعل أهم ما يجمع هذه القصائد في خانة مشتركة (الفكر الجمالي)، أو الرؤية الجمالية، فكل هذه القصائد محطات إبداعية، تمثل الشاعر شخصياتها، بحساسيته الجمالية، وريشته التخييلية التي فعَّلت أدوار هذه الشخصيات، وحركت المنتوج الجمالي الرؤيوي لها، فأتت هذه القصائد كاشفة عن الكثير من الرؤى والدلالات الجديدة التي تعري الواقعين (الروائي والشعري) في آن معاً، ومن أجل ذلك تجاوز الشاعر الدور المنوط بالشخصية الروائية؛ ليشتغل على رؤاه، وأحاسيسه، وتفاعله مع هذه الشخصيات على خارطة الحياة والوجود والإبداع.
