تعد قبيلة القراخانيين إحدى هذه القبائل التركية التي لم تخط بدراسات تاريخية شاملة، نظراً لندرة المصادر التي تحدثت عنها. تناولت في دراستي هذهِ الأصول التاريخية للقراخانيين، ومناطق استقرارهم، وأهم المدن التي استقروا فيها. وأشرت إلى لغتهم وألقاب أمرائهم ومدلولاتها السياسية، وتناولت - بشكل مفصل - أهم الديانات التي اعتنقوها، وكان آخرها الدين الإسلامي ،وأشرت إلى دورهم في نشره بين القبائل التركية وكفاحهم الطويل في محاربة الكفار من القبائل التركية. وتناولت - أيضاً - اهتمام الأمراء القراخانيين بالبناء والعمران،وعلاقتهم مع الخلافة العباسية وتطورها، إذ تميزت باستقرارها مع تبادل الرسل والوفود، ومنحهم الألقاب الفخمة . وعرجت على أهم ما حققه الأمراء القراخانيين من إنجازات سياسية وعسكرية عبر المراحل التاريخية لإمارتهم، من خلال الإشارة إلى علاقاتهم السياسية مع الإمارات الإسلامية المجاورة والمعاصرة لها في تلك المرحلة التاريخية ، وأهم ما تمخّض عن هذه العلاقات من نتائج سياسية وعسكرية،مع الإشارة إلى أهم السفارات المتبادلة بينهم. وتناولت - أيضاً - أهم الملامح الرئيسة لتطور الحياة العلمية في عهدهم، ولاسيما في بلاد ما وراء النهر ، التي تضمنت تطور علوم مختلفة، الإنسانية منها، والعقلية؛ مثل علوم اللغة العربية وعلوم القرآن الكريم وتفسيره وعلوم الحديث النبوي الشريف والتاريخ والرياضيات والفلك والهندسة والطب وعلوم السياسة والأخلاق وغيرها ، وقد توضح هذا التطور العلمي من خلال اهتمام عدد من أمراء الإمارة القراخانية بالعلم والعلماء .
