"الحب" هو خبز الحياة بالنسبة للشاعر سعود الجعفري، لا وطن له غيره، ينكتب عبر وعيه الدينامي حيث يرى لا مكانية ولا حدود للإنسان العاشق في هذه المسألة فـ (لاشيء يبقى .. لا شيء يرحل..) العنوان الذي اختاره الجعفري لنصوصه الصامتة المتفق عليها سلفاً مع الأوجاع هي ما تحرك قلم الشاعر بقول "أخيراً../ اتفقت مع الأسى.. أني أحبكما../ مع الأوجاع.. أن ترضي بواقعنا/ بماضينا.. وحاضرنا../ كما.. وبما/ أخيراً.. اتفقت مع الدموع بأن.. تعوَد نفسها التسكاب من دوني.. مع الآلام.. أن لا تمدح الألما.. مع الأحزان.. تتركني أمام الناس مبتسماً../ وخلف الليل مصطرباً..". بهذه النفس وبتلك الشاعرية يرصد سعود الجعفري مشاعره ويجعل منها صوراً شعرية تفسر نفسها بنفسها، وتروي ما لم يجييء في النص أيضاً.
يضم الكتاب (55) نصاً نثرياً نذكر من عناوينها: "لأنها اللذة تغلب المنطق"، "ونمضي غريبان"، "اتركي جرحاً"، "آهات الزجاج"، "إتفاق أخير"، "أسئلة معلقة"... الخ.
