محتويات الكتاب: الفصل الأول: الإصطلاحات العشائرية وتاريخ البصرة، الفصل الثاني: العشائر العربية البصرية، الفصل الثالث: العشائر العلوية البصرية؛ وأخيراً: المقابلات الشفهية مع رؤساء العشائر.
