ومن أجل حماية هذا الإئتمان فقد تضمن قانون لصرف عدة ضمانات تحمي حق الحامل وتكفل له الوفاء بقيمة الورقة التجارية في ميعاد إستحقاقها.
يهتم هذا الكتاب بدراسة التّضامن الصرفيّ كأحد أهمّ الضمانات التي منحها المشرّع التجاري لتقوية الثّقة بالورقة التجاريّة وتمكينها من أداء وظائفها كأداة إئتمان ووفاء تقوم مقام النقود، والذي من خلاله يستطيع الرّجوع على الملتزمين الصرفييّن، منفردين أو مجتمعين؟، للمطالبة بقيمة تلك الورقة سواء أكان ذلك في ميعاد إستحقاقها أم قبل ذلك الميعاد.
وتهدف هذه الدّراسة لمعالجة هذه الضّمانة الصرفيّة من خلال التّعرف بها وتمييزها عمّا يشتبه بها من أنظمة قانونيّة وتحديد نطاقها من حيث بيان الأشخاص الملتزمين صرفياً ومدى إمكانيّتهم في التخلّص من التضامن الصّرفي، فضلاً عن الخوض في أحكام هذا التّضامن في علاقة الحامل بالملتزمين الصرفييّن وعلاقة الملتزمين الصرفييّن بعضهم ببعض.
