إنطلاقاً من كون التشريعات في الدولة الحديثة تخلو من لإيراد نصوص قانونية خاصة تنظم إعلانات الإنترنت، تأتي دراسة الدكتور يوسف المنصوري هذه بهدف إثارة التساؤل عن مدى خضوع هذه الإعلانات للضوابط القانونية من جهة، ومدى إمكانية تطويع القوانين النافذة لمعالجة الإشكاليات القانونية التي يثيرها هذا النوع من الإعلانات التجارية من جهة أخرى. ولهذه الغاية، آثر المؤلف – كما يقول – دراسة "التنظيم القانوني للإعلانات التجارية عبر الإنترنت" من خلال الخوض في غمار الحقوق المرتبطة بتلك الإعلانات مع التركيز على حق المؤلف على المصنف الإعلاني عبر الإنترنت وحق الغير في حماية حياته الخاصة من تلك الإعلانات، فضلاً عن دراسة القيود الواردة عليها، سواء أكانت تلك القيود مقررة لمصلحة المستهلك أم لمصلحة التاجر المنافس، وذلك باعتماد أسلوب الدراسة التحليلية الوصفية المقارنة بين تشريعات دول أربع هي: فرنسا ولبنان ومصر والعراق، مع التركيز على موقف الإجتهادين الفقهي والقضائي فيها ...
وبالإستناد إلى ما تقدم ذكره، قسم المؤلف دراسته على العناوين الآتية:
الباب الأول: الحقوق المرتبطة بالإعلانات التجارية عبر الإنترنت ويضم: الفصل الأول: حق المؤلف على المصنف الإعلاني عبر الإنترنت، والفصل الثاني: حق الغير في حماية حياته الخاصة من الإعلانات التجارية عبر الإنترنت.
