ولا شط في أن التصفح لهذا الكتاب سيقع على كثير من أسرار الثورة الفرنسية التي بقيت دفينة أجيالاً طويلة، فمنها ما هو مشرق وهاج تجلله خالات من القدسية والنور والعطاء، ومنها ما هو مظلم أو باهت وفي بعض الأحيان مخز ومنفر.
وهكذا الثورات فمنها الجوانب المنيرة المشرفة ومنها الجوانب المظلمة الظالمة، ولولا ذلك ما دعيت الثورة ثورة.
ترى أي الجوانب كانت الطاغية على الأخرى في الثورة الفرنسية، جوانب الإشراق والعطاء والشرف، أم جوانب الدس والخداع والمكائد!!!
