ترقي المعرفة الدينية ورشدها مرهون بأمرين اثنين الأول معرفة المسائل المحتاج إليها بالبصيرة الدراكة للأسئلة والمزالق التي أثارتها الحياة المعاصرة والثاني السعي عن علم في الجواب على هذه الأسئلة والمتطلبات عن طريق مراجعة منابع المعرفة (الكتاب والسنة والعقل) مراجعة اجتهاد وجد بتنقيحها مع ما يتناسب مع متطلبات العصر الحديث وذلك فقط في ظل هذه البصيرة المتفتحة التي يساعدها على ذلك الفكر الديني العميق الهادي والمرشد للمسلمين في هذه الشرائط والأجواء الفكرية والاجتماعية والتاريخية المتضاربة.
إذ لو أن المتفكر الديني حصر نفسه وتقوقع على البحثو والمناقشات الكلاسيكية القديمة وأراد أن يواجه الواقعيات والمسائل العصرية لزمانه فإنه سيواجه حجماً كبيراً من الأسئلة والمناقشات الجديدة المتولدة عن الحداثة والمدنية الجديدة وطريقة التفكر الحيوي للمعايير والقيم الحاكمة على المدنية المعاصرة الغربية إذ الأخذ والعطاء في هذه المناقشات الكلامية متكيء على رؤية الواقع بالبصيرة من جهة والتدبر والدقة اللازمة من جهة أخرى حتى يحصل الخير والبركة الموجبين لرشد الفكر الديني وغناه إذ في مواجهة الحداثة والمدنية العصرية بمعطياتها الفكرية والعملية لا التسليم المحض والتبعية العمياء لهذه الأفكار صحيحاً وحلاً للمسألة ولا إغماض العين عنها بالإهمال لها والغفلة عنها صحيحاً وعليه فالأسئلة المثارة من الحداثة والمدنية الغربية المعاصرة أمور واقعية تحتاج إلى أجوبة دقيقة وصحيحة.
ومن هنا جاء كتاب (المنهج الاستنطاقي القرآني) للمؤلفين أحمد قاسم آل بزرون وحسين علي جليح بعيداً عن نطاق المباحث التقليدية القديمة إذ ناقشوا فيه المباحث الكلامية بالتوجه إلى المعطيات الحديثة والنظرات الجديدة.
