تقوم الصهيونية بشن غزوٍ متكامل ثقافي-اقتصادي-أمني لداخل المجتمعات العربية وهدفها إسقاط مناعة المجتمع الأهلي من الداخل، ويقول المؤلف في مقدمة كتابه بأن الصهيونية ستنجح في غزوها هذا حين أخفقت في حربها الحقيقية، وذلك لأن الوضع العربي الراهن سيئ لأنه غير متماسك ومخترق، فالغزو الصهيوني يجد فريسة سهلة في الأنظمة التي تهافتت على التطبيع معه. لذلك باتت مهمة الشعوب العربية فرض المقاطعة على هذا العدو الذي يستهدف، من سلامه المنشود، أن تزول المقاطعة، لتفتح له أسواق لم يحلم بها من قبل، وأن تتقدم خطوة إلى الأمام، فتشكل قوة ضاغطة على الحكومات في سبيل سوقنا المشتركة، وإطلاق دورة حياتنا من عقال التجزئة إلى رحاب التكامل.
إن المشروع الشرق أوسطي، رغم القوى الهائلة التي دعمته وكادت تفرضه في انعقاد القمم الشرق أوسطية وتوقيع الاتفاقات وسريان موجة التطبيع، واجه، كما تبين متابعة أحداثه في الكتاب، عاملين معترضين: الأول الطبيعة العنصرية الاستيطانية للصهيونية التي لم تترك حتى للمراهنين عليه من العرب حيّزاً لتلافي عقبة شعوبهم، إلى تناقضاته الذاتية، وثانياً ممانعة الأمة ومقاومتها ونهوض الحركة الشعبية العربية الرافضة التطبيع والإذعان. فهل النفق الذي دخله المشروع سيدفن فيه أم هو مؤقت؟ وعلى كل حال فإن إرادة الأمة العربية ستقرر في النهاية إحدى النتيجتين.
