كما يتناول مسألة الاقتصاد البحريني في هيكليته الكلية والجزئية والمحددات التي تحكم مؤشرات الاستثمار، بالإضافة إلى المكونات والتحديات التي تواجهه، وحاجته لتمثل تجارب المشروعات المتناهية الصغر والصغيرة والمتوسطة، في محاولة علمية جادة لاستشراف وتحديد معالم سيناريوهات المستقبل الذي تنتظره البحرين في مختلف مساراتها، ضمن حركة التحولات واستحقاقات العولمة، وما تفرضه من متطلبات وشروط ملزمة لتحقيق شراكة عالمية.
وما يميز هذا العمل بالفرادة والأصالة العلمية في القيمة والأهمية، هو مقارباته العلمية الشاملة والمبنية على لغة الأرقام والأعداد الموجهة بمعايير ومقاييس المعادلات الرياضية في علم الإحصاء والارتكاز عليها في رصد وتحليل وتفكيك الواقع البحريني، بكل مكوناته ومحدداته الديموغرافية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية، وما يتفرع عنها من قضايا عديدة، ومن أهمها التجنيس والعمالة والبطالة والتعليم والفقر والأجور والتلوث وغيرها.
