لم تعد معرفة الإنسان اللغة الإنجليزية خياراً في زمان أصبحت فيه المعارف والعلوم مطلوبة ومتاحة بكافة اللغات، وباللغة الإنجليزية على وجه الخصوص، ولهذا تقرر كليات الحقوق في كل الجامعات الأردنية والعربية تدريس مادة المصطلحات القانونية باللغة الإنجليزية لتمكين الطالب من الإلمام بأبرز المصطلحات المستخدمة في العلوم القانونية، وإذا كانت اللغة أداة أساسية للمشتغل بالقانون قاضياً كان أو محامياً أو أكاديمياً أو باحثاً أو طالباً، فإن الإلمام بأبرز المصطلحات القانونية باللغة الإنجليزية يعتبر أمراً حاسماً في التميز وتوسيع آفاق العمل أو الدراسة.
لذلك وضع المؤلف هذا الكتاب ليُغطي وصف مادة المصطلحات القانونية باللغة الإنجليزية ويعرض لمفردات المادة بأسلوب مبسّطٍ، وممتع يُمكن الطالب من تعلم أبرز المصطلحات والأدوات القانونية باللغة الإنجليزية بأسلوب رشيق دون إغراق في المحتوى أو تسطيح له، أسلوبٍ يُقارب المسألة من زوايا متعددةٍ، تتدرج تصاعدياً لتوافق كافة المستويات، وتفتح الآفاق لكل راغبٍ في الإستزادة.
