نعمة الله بن محمد بن عبد الله الموسوي الجزائري (1050 هـ / 1640 - 1112 هـ / 1701). رجل دين وفقيه ومُحدّث ومُفسّر شيعي. وقد كان أحد كبار رجال الدين الشيعة الإثني عشرية في العراق وإيران في زمان الدولة الصفوية التي تقلّد فيها بعض المناصب القضائية، وقد وُثِقّ الجزائري عند كبار الرجاليين الشيعة كأستاذه المجلسي(2) والحر العاملي(3) ويوسف البحراني.
وُلد سنة 1050 هـ في قرية الصباغية، وهي إحدى قرى قضاء الجزائر والذي يسمى حالياً بقضاء الجبايش، والذي يقع حسب الجغرافيا الحديثة في محافظة ذي قار بجنوب العراق.

"الأنوار النعمانية" كتاب عجيب غريب، يشتمل على تفصيل لأحوال الإنسان قبل خلقته، وبيان شأنه إلى يوم ولوج حفرته ويعقبه بذكر أحواله إلى يوم دخول النار أو الجنة، وفيه أيضاً تفصيل لأحوال الدنيا وأهلها قبل وجودها وبعد وجودها.
ومن أهم أبوابه نذكر: "أنوار في معرفة الباري سبحانه، اختلاف الأخبار في أول مخلوق خلقه الله تعالى، في أفضلية الأئمة بعضهم على بعض، بيان أن أفضل الخلق بعد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم هو علي بن أبي طالب، نسب الخلفاء، حديث أصحابي كالنجوم، مكان الجنة والنار الأخرويتان، خلق حوّا وكيفيته، علم النجوم وتحقيق الكلام فيه، أحوال القبر، تأويل معاوية قتل عمار، كيفية ابتداء النسل من آدم عليه السلام، في تعلق الروح بالبدن، من المكونات في الهوى الذرات، خلق النهار والليل وأيهما أسبق، قصة عابد في بني إسرائيل، قصة امرأة بغية كانت في بني إسرائيل".
