يضم الكتاب مقالات جوزف سماحة في "اليوم السابع" بين عامي (1984- 1990) يتقدمها مقال للأستاذ "رهيف فياض"، ومدخل للأستاذ "نجيب نصر الله".
من عناوين الكتاب نذكر: "في ذكرى 23 يوليو"، اسرائيل: الاستثمار الأميركي الأكبر، "الوحدة" الإسرائيلية والتضامن العربي"، غاب الأحمر، حضر الأسود!"(...)، و"مقياس الربح والخسارة"...إلخ.
